What is a Digital Information and Data Protection Policy?
A “Digital Information and Data Protection Policy” – commonly known as “Privacy Policy” is a statement that discloses some or all possible ways a business Collects, Processes, Shares, Stores and Archives the “Personal Information/Data” of its website visitors and customers in digital landscape. It fulfils a legal requirement to protect a visitor or customer's private information and data.
“Personal Information/Data” refers to “Customer Information/Data”, “Visitors Information/Data” - and is used interchangeably throughout this policy.

Data Controller and applicable legal jurisdiction
The data controller for the purpose of this policy is META GXP (SMC- Private) Limited. We are a registered company with Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). The applicable legal jurisdiction of our company incorporation is Pakistan.
National Commission for Personal Data Protection (NCPDP) is the regulatory body responsible for monitoring data processing activities and protecting the privacy rights of individuals in Pakistan.

This privacy policy is applicable on personal information/ data collected using the following digital interface(s)

Our business hardware will always carry updated Firewall and other information data protection software suite as standard such as VPN, Antivirus and Antimalware tools to minimize risk exposure to our customer’s personal information /data.

We only collect personal information pertaining to our website visitors or prospective clients when they communicate with us, such as through “live chat” or via “Contact form”, “Phone”, “Email” and “Post”. We collect similar type of personal information/data from our site visitors as we do from our customers.
Non-Personal information
Any non-personal information (such as ip address, location etc) is not collected or stored but may be viewed as it is made available by 3rd party hosting provider i.e. Wix.com, details of their privacy policy is available on their site.
Who are 3rd parties and what about their privacy policies?
Like most businesses, we utilize 3rd parties (Service Vendors/Suppliers), these include digital service vendors such as Website hosting and domain providers, Payment processors, social media apps, Telecom service provider-to name a few, enabling us to operate and provide you with services. While we always aim as a business to utilize only reputed and trusted 3rd party service providers ensuring protection of our customers and visitor’s information/data, we however do not assume responsibility for any privacy related issues because of a 3rd party privacy breach as this digital information and data protection policy does not extend to any of our 3rd party service providers.
Our 3rd party service providers are responsible for maintaining and updating their own privacy policies and visitors and customers should always refer to their websites for reading and understanding the policy or if they have any query/ concerns regarding a policy.
We maintain an up-to-date list of our 3rd party service providers and would be happy to share that upon request with our customers. Please email us with your request at the address provided at the bottom of this policy should you be requiring one quoting the “Request For 3rd Party List” in the subject line with following details included in the email.

How do you communicate with your site visitors?

Personal information of visitors is deleted following 3 months of inactivity.

Children privacy
We do not maintain any personal information pertaining to children. We have no means of assessing a website visitor’s age and therefore bear no responsibility if any child happens to gain access to our website or attempts to interact with our site. We would encourage parents to apply parental controls to their children’s hardware and software in use.
